CAHU Sales Conference

The 2008 CAHU Sales Conference was a big hit for the Membership Team. We rolled out our new CAHU Membership Brochure and Application and several initiatives that we are really excited about.

As a reminder for all Membership Chairs please let Peggy Maas at PESC know what your growth campaign is and we'll send you a supply of the new Brochure/Application to help you in your efforts. As a suggestion get your local GA and carrier representatives together and ask them to help spread the word about your local chapter and CAHU. They can go to www.nahu.org before they meet with a broker to verify whether that broker is a member or not. If not, the NEW Membership Brochure gives them an easy way to begin the conversation. Take advantage of this new tool that CAHU is providing AT NO COST to the local chapters.

Member Recruiting

So who is a prospective CAHU member? Why anybody who is actively involved in the sale of health insurance who is not already a member! If you are a broker talk to your peers about the value of a CAHU membership. Not only are there great member benefits that you will use in your every day practice such as discounts on Errors & Ommisions coverage, DHL or UPS shipping vendor discounts, Office Depot and many more, but your colleague will gain access to a network of professionals at your local, state and national meeting events. Truly the best in the industry are members of our association and I encourage you to recruit your peers to JOIN TODAY!

Another easy way to recruit is to demand that any Carrier or General Agency representative that comes to your office be a member of our association. If they aren't already a member joining is easy! Just go to www.nahu.org and complete the online application TODAY! Be sure to notify the CAHU office of any online applications so that we can get you credit for recruiting a new member.
